Uniform and PE Dress Codes

UNIFORM POLICY

  • Tops

    • Solid white, black, or gray shirts—short or long sleeve.

    • Collared or non-collared shirts are permitted.

    • Bancroft spirit shirts may be worn any day.

  • Bottoms

    • Solid black or gray pants/shorts or blue jeans.

    • Pants/shorts must be worn at the waist and free of rips, tears, or holes.

    • No sagging or exposed undergarments.

    • Shorts and skirts should be close to knee length (fingertip rule).

    • No biker shorts, spandex, PE shorts outside of PE, or oversized clothing.

  • Footwear

    • Must be secure, safe for movement, closed-toe, and have an enclosed heel.

    • Not permitted: sandals, slides, slippers (including UGGs), Crocs, Yeezys, heels, or similar styles.

PE Expectations

  • Must dress out for P.E. DAILY in Bancroft P.E. Uniform. 
  • Must wear proper ATHLETIC SHOES and socks. 
    • No Crocs
    • No Slides
    • No open-toed or open-back sandals or shoes of any kind
    • Parents/Guardians could be called to bring a pair of appropriate shoes to school should a student violate footwear expectations. 
  • In the event of cold weather, students may wear sweatpants, jacket, raincoat, windbreaker, etc.
