Vision: Together with community stakeholders, we at Bancroft Middle School are focused on preparing students for college and careers. We aim to Inspire and empower students to excel both academically and socially, while preparing them to be productive citizens and future leaders. Our school strives to provide a nurturing and safe environment that fosters a rigorous academic and technological curriculum to prepare students to become lifelong learners.

LBUSD will serve free meals to all enrolled students for the full duration of the new school year through School Nutrition Programs.

The Long Beach Unified School District Board of Education approved the selection of David Zaid as the District’s next superintendent. Mr. Zaid will begin on July 1 and lead the District into its next era of excellence.

On Saturday, May 16, 150 middle school students from across Long Beach Unified School District gathered at McBride High School to engage in hands-on challenges that fostered engineering, teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving.

Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to eligible children enrolled in School Age Care or Expanded Learning Opportunities Program at 41 locations as part of the Long Beach Unified School District’s Summer Food Service Program.

Students did an excellent job following directions, evacuating quickly, and getting back to class. We were able to get everyone out, check the campus & have kids back in class and working within 10 minutes. KUDOS to our teachers & scholars!
